When the final harvest of the year is complete, and the plants are pulled out of the garden it’s a good time to think about your successes and maybe some things you wish you had done differently. It’s also a great time order seed catalogues, which have long been the wish books of dedicated gardeners.
Whether it’s Gurney, Burpee, Rohrer or one of many others, now is the time to take a look at the hundreds of new varieties of all types of seeds that will be available for 2020.
It may sound old fashioned, and it is, but looking through a seed catalogue and dreaming of the possibilities is a terrific way to spend a cold winter day. Be sure to do your research for organic fertilizer for your garden as well, to produce an abundant crop.
